My name is Matt. I'm a typical high school senior: into college, bored with life, addicted to sports. So what better to do then start a blog discussing New York sports. Allow this to be known now so I'm not considered a homer: big-time Giants fan (section 239 in Giants Stadium, 248 in New Meadowlands Stadium) and Yankees fan. Casual Knicks and Islanders fan, but always rooting for Nets and Rangers, too. Honestly, Mets/Jets fans always hate on the Gmen/Yanks, but as any true blue fan will know, all we care about is Iggles/Cowgirls/Skins/Sox.
Why NY Sports? It's the heart of it all. As Sinatra said, "If I can make it there, I can make it anywhere..." The Mecca of Basketball on 32nd and 7th. The New Home of Champions on 161st and River. Soon to be the Greatest Outdoor Football Stadium right over the bridge in the Meadowlands.
